Actors as showstoppers
A fashion event without Bollywood razzmatazz remains lacklustre these days. There was enough dazzle from tinsel town on the ramp during the HDIL India Couture Week during which a galaxy of stars from the Hindi film industry walked down the ramp as showstoppers.

The list is long. Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal, Shahrukh Khan and a host of Bollywood actresses did glam up the catwalk during the fashion week. There were many memorable moments and, thankfully, no gaffes. The most memorable were the shows by Salman Khan and Karan Johar that almost had half the film industry descending on the ramp and the aisles.
