Yeh jodi mast hai. Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone are romancing onscreen for the second time in Prakash Jha’s much-anticipated film Aarakshan. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role.

Prakash Jha always had in his mind a film on the controversial issue of caste-based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. As soon as he got over his Raajneeti hangover, he started working on Aarakshan. The first leg of schedule was in Bhopal and all the three actors Saif, Deepika and Amitabh shot for the major part of the film there.

However, what may shock you is that all the three films besides Agent Vinod that Saif Ali Khan is doing have Deepika as his leading lady. Saif and Deepika’s make a sizzling pair and their first outing Love Aaj Kal was a superhit. Naturally, this fresh pair is in demand. On the contrary, Saif has only Agent Vinod with his ladylove Kareena Kapoor.

In Aarakshan, Saif plays a professor while Deepika is a student. For the film Saif also had to hone his Hindi speaking skills. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on August 12.
