Ash as Heroine
Though the matter is done and dusted, Aishwarya Rai’s adulating fans still feel that she was the only one who could have done justice to the film Heroine. So, before that entire hullabaloo surrounding Ash’s unceremonious exit from the film followed by Kareena Kapoor stepping into her stilettos, Aishwarya did a special photoshoot for Heroine.
Ash started working for Heroine in June and was pledged to work non-stop to complete the film in time but as soon as the work on it started, the news of Aishwarya’s pregnancy was announced to the world. At that time producers UTV and director Madhur Bhandarkar had no option but to stop shooting. It was even said that Madhur was quite upset with Ash as she didn’t inform him about her being preggers.
Ash’s baby is speculated to be due in September, and Kareena Kapoor is very much on board for the film. She is too excited and has proclaims that ‘Heroine’ was always her film.
We don’t have any doubt on Kareena’s credentials, but after seeing Aishwarya Rai’s photographs from the Heroine photoshoot, one must grant that Aishwarya looked freaking fabulous as the heroine.
