Salman and Shahrukh Khan
It is said “A friend is the one who walks in when others walk out.” But in Bollywood we have seen many an instance of friends walking out on each other.
Sad, yet true! Friends turning foes is not a new thing in our film industry. While Bollywood captures the essence of friendship on screen with films like Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, there are hardly any Akaash, Sid and Sameer, or Kabir, Imran and Arjun, off-screen in Bollywood!
Perhaps the biggest and the most talked about clash between friends in Bollywood is that of the DabanggSalman Khan and King Khan Shahrukh Khan. Once best friends (some assumed them to share a brotherly relationship thanks to their amazing on-screen chemistry in Karan Arjun), Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan had an ugly spat at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008.
Though Shahrukh Khan has thrown covert hints time and again that he wants to sort out things with Salman Khan, Sallu seems to be in no mood to patch up.
Well, we hope this friendship day brings about peace in Bollywood and all the friends-turned-foes darn their differences! Wait…I just visualized… All the friends-turned-foes of Bollywood watching Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and coming out of the theatre hugging each other and realizing that their friendship is above all the differences. Now that’s what I call wishful thinking! Wink.
Anyhow, have a look at the sweet-turned-sour friendships in Bollywood here:
