Ajith’s 50th film ‘Mankatha’ opens to packed houses!

Thala is back!
It seems Ajith’s 50th film Mankatha is all set to break the opening records. Riding high on hype, Mankatha is expected to get the biggest opening ever; but it didn’t come as a surprise to us because the film stars Ajith, who is known as the “King of opening”.

As per trade reports, the online bookings of Mankatha, which is releasing today, are full for the weekend and so are the advance bookings at the ticket windows. The fans have shown love for their favourite Thala. The response is huge and people are thronging to the theatres for the tickets.

In fact, all the theatres and multiplexes screening the film are reportedly running special shows from morning to night but still there is dearth of tickets. Sun Pictures, which is distributing Mankatha in association with Radhika Sarathkumar's Radaan Media, is releasing the film in over 300 theatres in Tamil Nadu. But the film will not release in Kerala now.

The movie will also be benefitted with two holidays this week, Eid and Vinayaka Chathurthi. No doubt, Ajith’s Mankatha is going to take the box office by storm.

Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and directed by Venkat Prabhu, Mankatha has an ensemble cast. Trisha, newbie Andrea Jeremiah, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran and Vaibhav all are part of this thriller.
