The first edition of India Resort Fashion Week just came to a close in Goa and it featured a host of Indian designers showcasing their expertise in designing the high-end beachwear.
A slew of designers with interesting concepts were the highlight of the India Resort Fashion Week.
Designer Anupama Dayal’s collection Sherbet was, in her words, “mixed, shaken and stirred to present a deliciously refreshing cocktail worthy of Goan sunsets”, while Asmita Marwa's collection, Reflections, reflected the “free spirited independent and intellectual persona of a woman”.
Other notable collections showcased were Divya Mohta's Birds of Paradise and Pria Kataria Puri's Persian Punk.
The event came to a close with Manish Malhotra’s collection which was a mix of anarkalis, suits, saris, jodhpuri pants, trousers, jackets, kurtas with bikini tops, cropped pants in hues like ivory, fushia pink, amber, steel grey. The final day also saw Sushmita Sen walking the ramp for the designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil.
