Fans want Salman Khan to get married in 2012

Forty six is an age where a man shouldn’t just be married but frolicking around with a couple of kids. But our Salman Khan, still handsome and hearty, is blissfully single and showing no intention of getting hitched. However, the fans want him to tie the knot.

“Get married, Sallu.” That’s the message the fans have sent out loud and clear in the new online poll conducted by ApunKaChoice. We had asked our readers to vote for the celebrity they want to see getting married in 2012. No surprises that votes were tipped heavily in Salman Khan’s favour despite other eligible bachelors and bachelorettes like Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Rani Mukherjee, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Karan Johar as the favourites.

We got 1226 votes out of which a whopping 61 percent voted in favour of Salman Khan getting hitched this year. The superstar has previously been egged on to get married by his good friend Aamir Khan who said that Salman should be tied up and led to the wedding mandap. Even Akshaye Khanna, another eligible bachelor, recently said that he would get married only after Salman Khan does.

But the question is: will Salman Khan heed the call of his fans? The superstar is very much single now but still on very friendly terms with his ex flame Katrina Kaif.

So Salman getting married this year is anyone’s guess.
