Whoa! Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are now husband and wife. The wedding took place today at the suburban Grand Hyatt hotel.
Dressed in a white sherwani and red turban, the groom Riteish Deshmukh arrived at the marriage venue along with the band, baaja and baaraat. He wore a sehra and was astride a ghodi (mare). The excited groom smiled at the onlookers and waved his hands.
Genelia D’Souza looked stunningly beautiful dressed in red and gold lehenga designed for her by Ritu Kumar. The marriage was solemnized in a Marathi tradition with both the bride and the groom taking nuptial vows around a sacred fire.
The guest list swelled with celebrities from Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Asin, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Satish Shah, Jacky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Ramesh Taurani.
Riteish’s dad Vilasrao Deshmukh was dressed in a brown sherwani. The wedding saw the presence of a lot of politicians as well.

Riteish and Genelia D’Souza have been dating since 2003. They kept their relationship private until very recently.
