Deepika Padukone is rumoured to have broken up with Siddharth Mallya, her boyfriend for about two years. This is yet another split in the string of break-ups Deepika has seen in her romantic life. Here’s a recap of them.

Nothing hurts more than a heartbreak. Though it’s not clear if Deepika Padukone has had to go through it in her latest split with Siddharth Mallya, but one more attempt at finding and nurturing love seems to have gone down the plughole. The reason for the split isn’t known, but it’s being said that Siddharth wasn’t very pleased with Deepika’s decision to work with her ex boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in a film.

Another version says the cracks have been appearing in the relationship for quite a while and it was only a matter of time for Deepika and Siddharth to drift away. Yet another claims that Siddharth has his eye now on Sonam Kapoor and therefore he dumped Deepika.

Whatever the reason, Deepika Padukone seems to be doing what she did at the time of her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor: sinking herself in work, work and more work. And by the way, we hear a comforting shoulder has been put forth for Deepika by another of her exes: Nihar Pandya. It’s also being said that Deepika has hooked up with Nihar again.
