As a teenager, she used to weigh approx 90 kgs, and see how Sonam Kapoor has transformed herself. From an obese star kid to a style diva, Sonam has indeed come a long way, and now there is no looking back for her. But here we will go back in time to see how this actress with the girl-next-door looks evolved as the fashion’s favourite child.

Sonam Kapoor has changed the way actresses dress. She has surprised fashion buffs and fans alike with her quirky yet feminine, vintage yet edgy choice of clothes. But do you know when it dawned on others that she has arrived at the glamour front? When Sonam Kapoor wore a toga-inspired dress and walked in Grecian charm at IIFA Awards 2009. Fashionistas went crazy writing about her great style sense and how she took the dress to another level. Sonam did full justice to this shapeless Anamika Khanna dress paired with polki neck-piece.

After 2009 IIFA, every appearance of Sonam Kapoor used to go through the scrutinizing eye of fashion critics. By 2011, Sonam was a name to reckon with in style and high-end fashion. She attended Cannes Film festival and wowed all with her first red carpet appearance at an international film festival. Though the Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown looked edgy, Sonam added her alluring charm to it, and voila, a sure shot head turner at the red carpet.

Recently Sonam attended the Paris Fashion week wearing a sari, and she is also invited to the Milan Fashion Week. The young actress with her impeccable style sense and charisma has carved a niche for herself at the international circuit. What’s next, Sonam?
