Singer-actress Jessica Simpson, who is seven months pregnant, has posed naked for the cover of Elle magazine’s April issue.

On the cover, Jessica Simpson is seen striking a classic pregnant mom pose with one hand around her breasts and another cradling her tummy. Not only did Jessica pose nude, she also revealed the sex of her baby: a girl. On the cover, Jessica is seen wearing yellow sapphire and diamond earrings and a yellow sapphire ring with peridot, turquoise, sapphires, and diamonds from Van Cleef & Arpels.

In a phone interview with USA Today, Jessica Simpson said she “wasn’t nervous at all” to expose herself to millions on the cover of Elle.

"Normally, I'm so shy," she said. "I'm not the person you see photographed in a bikini on a beach. For some reason, being pregnant, it's so easy for me. I feel so comfortable in my skin.…It's just really a celebratory moment for me. I'm glad people are reacting positively [to the cover]," said the 31-year-old singer, actress.

The photos in the inner spread of the magazine also has the father of her unborn child, professional football player Eric Johnson, kissing Jessica’s belly (see next page).

The April issue of Elle featuring Simpson officially hits newsstands on March 20.
