Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai will make time for the cinematic fiesta in French Riviera this year as well. She will most likely take her five-month-old daughter along for the 65th Cannes Film Festival in May.

She may been keeping Bollywood filmmakers in the queue, but Aishwarya Rai is indeed game for professional commitments related to L’Oreal, the cosmetic brand she’s been associated with for years now.

Every year, in May, Aishwarya Rai packs her bags and heads to Cannes Film Festival. This year won’t be any different, despite the fact that Aishwarya now has added duties as a mother. Her five-month-old daughter Aaradhya needs her attention, and mommy dear won’t neglect her motherly duties even as she sashays down the red carpet for the 11th year in a row at Cannes.

Aishwarya Rai first attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2002 for the premiere of her film Devdas. Since then her Cannes appearances have been subject to close scrutiny by fashion police.

Last year, Aishwarya Rai was at Cannes not just as the face of L’Oreal but also to announce the film Heroine with Madhur Bhandarkar. This year, her appearance will be solely for L’Oreal. The Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 16 to 27.
