Bollywood’s wedding of the month
Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa Lahiri got married to his longtime girlfriend Taneesha Verma in a glitzy event that was not without its Bollywood glamour. The tinsel town razzmatazz was also visible at the reception. The newly-wed couple was clad in traditional Bengali attire. We spotted a few actresses who looked wonderful in desi clothes. Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and the bride’s good friend Shraddha Kapoor floored us with their splendid dresses at the reception.

Shraddha Kapoor continued to charm us for the third time in a row. After seeing her at sangeet, wedding and then at reception, we can’t help but admire her awesome sartorial choices. Well, she had to look good; after all, she is the bride’s good friend.

Dressed in a white chanderi saree with pink and black booties and motifs with resham thread work, Rani Mukherjee looked a beautiful bong to perfection. A similar traditional sari was worn by TV actress Sakshi Tanwar. If the saree was Rani Mukherjee’s choice for the day, cousin Kajol picked a Manish Malhotra kalidaar and did her hair in a trendy side-swept plait. Quite a good change for Kajol as she is up for breaking the monotony of her tried and tested looks.

Yesteryear actress Jaya Prada was the surprise of the event. The lady went for a sleeveless kalidaar with heavy sequin work. Among men, Amitabh Bachchan and Jeetendra caught our fancy with their stylish debonair attires, but the ones who looked handsome and stylish were Abhishek Bachchan and Jackie Shroff.
