Hugo 3D finally gets a release date for India

Yes, we’ve been boasting about certain films like Lol, Battleship and The Avengers releasing in India before the US, but there is apparently a sense of balance in this world! Wink. Though Hugo has not only released in several parts across the globe but also won five Academy Awards, it will release in India on May 4th!

An adventure drama 3D film, Hugo is based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret. The film is about a boy who lives in a Paris railway station, and is on a journey to discover certain secrets that his father has left for him. All this has to do with a key-wound robot, which you can see in the trailer below.

Meanwhile, though some of you might be disappointed that we in India will get to witness Hugo 3D after a stretched delay, we say look at the brighter side! The movie is touted as ‘the best 3D visual event of the decade’, which means we’ll enter the cinema halls knowing that a visual extravaganza awaits us! And as clichéd as it may sound, it fits perfectly here: better late than never!
