The countdown to the W-day has begun with the festivities. Esha Deol is all set to tie the knot with her fiancé Bharat Takhtani on June 29. The four-day wedding extravaganza started yesterday, June 25, with a grand sangeet at The Lalit Intercontinental, Mumbai. So, who all were in attendance?

As expected it wasn’t a quiet affair. Mommy Hema Malini and sister Ahana Deol have been preparing for the marriage ceremonies for quite some time now. The bride Esha Deol arrived at the venue wearing a heavily embellished lehenga in vibrant orange by Rocky S. The beautiful kundan jewellery and an elegant kamarband completed her traditional look for sangeet. The groom Bharat Takhtani looked handsome in princely attire with flower motifs embroidered on it. Sister Ahana Deol was in a blue and green anarkali for the event, while Hema Malini, who has a subtle style sense, went for a beautiful sari in light peach with ornate border.

Though all eyes were on Esha Deol, others who looked wow at the event were Zoa Morani and Genelia D’Souza. Zoa wore a white skirt with golden border and paired it with a red choli and dupatta. Genelia chose a beige and red outfit and kept it simple without many accessories. Designers Masaba Gupta and Nishka Lulla also looked stunning in desi clothes. If Masaba went for a cheery pink sari, Nishka chose a lovely lehenga in brocade for the sangeet night.

Among men, Ranveer Singh turned out quite dapper in a pathan suit teamed with dhoti pants. Actor Abhay Deol also looked nice in a black suit.
