Cute! he surely is, and that choti at his nape makes him cool too. Ranbir Kapoor who plays a deaf and mute character in his upcoming film Barfi! went for a braid in the movie. The thin braid with golden streaks is most likely to catch the fancy of many style bhais and gurus.
What appeared interesting to us about this look is that it is relatively cool and has a fresh vibe to it. Moreover, it doesn’t call for hardwork to get a braid like this. Ranbir Kapoor’s casual hairstyle from the front hasn’t changed; neither has he grown his hair till shoulders to sport this look. The tiny, thin braid with golden highlights falls downs his nape and hairstylists believe that the actor is confident enough to pull off this quirky look.
Ranbir Kapoor’s fans also liked his experiment with hair. The actor who plays the character of Murphy in the film Barfi! was required to act through gestures and communicate through sign language. Since his character is of a charmer and a prankster in the film, Ranbir required looking adorable and comical. Asked whether the legendary actors like Charlie Chaplin or Mr. Bean inspired his performance, Ranbir said, “Yes definitely that was an inspiration, we did not copy or tried to replicate it. I took all my influence (from them). Also, I am grandson of Raj Kapoor, so I would have little bit of that in me, it automatically came.”
Inspiration apart, we admit that his hairstylist did a terrific job by giving him this unique look for the film. Also for some parts of the film, Ranbir is sporting a French beard.
