Ouch! It hurts
Sonakshi Sinha recently shot for a high-on-energy item song with none other than the choreographer and her Rowdy Rathore director Prabhu Deva for an Akshay Kumar production. Though the actress practiced her moves in advance before shooting for the song, the final dance did leave her exhausted and with sprained neck. Ouch!

However, she was not the only one in pain; her mentor Prabhu Deva too injured himself during the filming of the upcoming dance number Go Go Govinda for the film OMG Oh My God! at the Kamalistan Studio. The tapori track is loaded with sassy dance moves involving pelvic thrusts and Bollywood’s regular fatal jhatka-matka and marks the festivities of Janamashtami. Choreographed by Prabhu Deva, the song turned out to be a high voltage one.

The sources from the sets claim that while shooting the item song the energy levels increased so much that Sonakshi Sinha sprained her neck. “At the end of the song, Prabhu sir also had a major problem on his wrists,” the source is quoted as saying.

The dancing duo was attended to immediately, and in spite of pain they managed to complete the song. The sources also claim that Prabhu Deva made Sonakshi Sinha drink bhang while shooting the song, and that too without Sona’s knowledge. In fact, the entire crew drank bhang and told Sonakshi that it is thandai. It was only later when she got a bit tipsy that the actress found out that she had had a little bhang.

Sonakshi Sinha agreed to do this track at the behest of Akshay Kumar. She immediately gave her nod after she heard the track that’s crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and composed by Himesh Reshammiya. It’s said that the track involves a lot of hop and shuffle.

The song Go Go Govinda is not yet released, but some images from the sets are doing the rounds.
