Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata hai, duniya mein sardaar na hotey to kya hota… sorry yar duniya bekar, bina son of sardaar. Check out actor Ajay Devgan explaining the importance of sardaars in the first trailer of Son Of Sardaar. He’s got a point!

In the trailer, Ajay is introduced as the son of sardaar, and, in his true style, is shown fighting with the baddies. Sanjay Dutt and his gang are also introduced to us. Now, what is Sonakshi Sinha doing in the film? Sonakshi, the firebrand, makes a smashing entry on a bike, and our son of sardaar falls head over heels in love with this stunning punjaban. The trailer also shows the charming Juhi Chawla; she is romancing Sanjay Dutt in the film.

The first promo of the film hardly has dialogues, but is interspersed with funny scenes and the title track playing in the background. Watch Ajay Devgan falling off a train as he tries to help Sonakshi Sinha get into it. The couple enacts the famous train scene of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in the trailer, but with the funny twist: the girl pulls out the hero from the running train.

The film’s unbelievable action scenes make it look like another Rohit Shetty outing, but the director of the film is Ashwini Dheer. Actually the movie is a remake of the south hit Maryada Ramanna which was directed by the maverick S.S. Rajamouli.

Son Of Sardaar is releasing this Diwali and will clash with Yash Chopra’s film starring Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif at the BO. The film has a distinct mass appeal and seems to be a perfect entertainer.
