First trailer: Bipasha Basu sizzles and scares in 'Raaz 3'

The first trailer of the horror flick Raaz 3 has Bipasha Basu playing a vamp who victimizes her rival actress with black magic. Emraan Hashmi plays the guy caught between the two women.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt whose Haunted 3D struck fear into many a heart, Raaz 3 has Bipasha Basu playing an actress who can’t take the slight of losing to her rival Esha Gupta at an award function. So she plans to destroy Esha.

Emraan Hashmi plays an award winning director in a relationship with Esha. In one scene in the trailer, Bipasha is shown telling hypnotically to Emraan “Tum woh karoge joh main chahti hoon. Aur main usse barbaad karna chahti hoon”.

Thereafter Esha Gupta is shown going through a series of spook scares in her haunted house. Shadows pass through corridors, creaky doors open with unsettling eeriness, hands pop out of walls and TV screens to throttle the bewildered actress.

Worst of all, even if Esha’s character Sanjana wants to end her torment by committing suicide she won’t die. That’s because she’s under the spell of black magic.

Things come to a head when Sanjana reaches the brink of mental breakdown and that’s when Emraan Hashmi decides to take matters into his own hands and save Sanjana’s soul from black magic.

There are scenes of smooches between Emraan and Esha Gupta. There’s also a blink-and-you’ll miss bikini shot.

Raaz 3 will also release in 3D. The film is produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. It’s slated to release on September 7.
