Bollywood on Ramp
The grouse that fewer Bollywood actresses walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week 2012 was put to rest on the final day of the fashion gala with as many as four different celebs sashaying down the ramp for different designers.

The showstopper of the night was doubtlessly the Lakme brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor who looked just jaw-droppingly gorgeous on the catwalk at the grand finale show by Kallol Datta. Kareena had a busy Tuesday as she was also the showstopper for the designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi.

The designer duo from Delhi was grateful to have Kareena Kapoor walk the ramp for them. They told a news agency: “Having Kareena (Kapoor) walk the ramp for us helped a lot. Our brand got noticed a lot more due to this. Also, she has noticed us and was asking about our collection. It is very exciting and we are happy.”

Another highlight of the day was the Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 girl Huma Qureshi walking the ramp for designer Atithi Gupta. Huma had the aviator sunglasses on as she stepped on the ramp and walked confidently.

Sameera Reddy sent the strobe lights flashing while walking the ramp in a sari for Archana Kochhar.

There was also Hema Malini making an unusual appearance on the ramp. Check it all out ahead.
