Shirish Kunder’s upcoming film Joker boasts of his characteristic humour. Some are bound to like it, others may not. Here are a few dialogue promos featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha from the film.
Joker tells the story of an NRI couple (Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha) who return to their native village that has been totally neglected by authorities but also wiped off the map. This new dialogue promo shows Akshay and Sonakshi arriving in the village and Sonakshi spots a boy hanging upside down by a rope at the top of a courtyard.
When Sonakshi Sinha asks: “Woh bachcha wahan kya kar raha hai?”, Asrani, who apparently plays a pivotal part in the movie, tells her that the boy thinks he’s a lantern. “Toh use neeche kyon nahin utarte ho?” Sonakshi asks, and Asrani gives her a reply that you should check out in the dialogue promo below.
Joker is set to release on August 31. There has been a concern that the film is not being promoted sufficiently by the film’s lead actors, who are busy with other projects. To these concerns, Shirish Kunder replies: “Don't worry about the promotion. JOKER will work on its own merit.”
