Joker
Touted as an ‘out of this world’ comedy, Shirish Kunder’s film Joker is about an NRI (Akshay Kumar) and his beautiful wife (Sonakshi Sinha) who return home to discover that their village has dropped off the map of India.

To put it back on the world's radar they must now forge an unlikely alliance of crazy villagers and aliens that will turn their village into the biggest "tamasha" the universe has ever seen!

An ‘alliance of villagers’! Doesn’t that ring a bell? Oh yeah, Tees Maar Khan directed by Farah Khan and also starring Akshay Kumar was a comedy that was trashed by critics but still found a few fans. It’s that brand of humour that promises to entertain the cine goers in Joker as well.

The film is Shirish Kunder’s second outing as a director after Jaaneman which he directed in 2006.

The supporting roles in Joker are played by Minissha Lamba, Shreyas Talpade and Asrani. Chitrangada Singh makes a cameo appearance in a song.
