Korn in Gurgaon!
It was indeed a headbanger’s ball at Gurgaon on Wednesday as the American nu metal band Korn belted out their popular tracks for the supercharged Indian fans.

Thousands of fans, mostly dressed in black and sporting ‘Korn’ and skull and bones tattoos and tees, descended at the concert venue and much to their delight, the gig went on without a hitch, unlike the Metallica fiasco last year.

The band members Jonathan Davis (singer), James Shaffer (guitarist), Reginald Arvizu (bassist) and Ray Luzier (drummer) took the stage with gusto and immediately got on to the business of rocking their fans. The quartet belted out their famous tracks like "Get up", "Falling away from me", "Freak on the leash", "Blind" and "Narcissistic cannibal". As an added bonus, they also performed Pink Floyd's track “We don't need no education” and asked the crowd to sing along.

“All you guys know the lyrics, so just sing it along with us,” said the band’s frontman.

This is Korn’s first ever concert in India. The band’s frontman Jonathan Davis was moved by the crowd support and told them: “Thank you so much for bringing us here in India. You guys are incredible. We really appreciate the love and affection you have shown to us. We love you.”

“We love you, too,” the crowd roared back.

Korn will next perform in Bangalore on September 9. Their Mumbai concert, scheduled for September 7, has reportedly been cancelled due to rains.
