In Student Of The Year, Karan Johar has directed newcomers for a frothy tale set in a school, but the story is not without love pangs. There are emotions and confusions because the movie has Ek phool, do maali!. The new song of the movie ‘Student Of The Year’ is a quintessential romantic track set against scenic beauty, and in no time, the song has struck the right chord with the music buffs.

Starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra, the song takes you straight to the times of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Mohabbatein. Reason: students and snow. With Karan Johar at the helm of affairs, the song mesmerizes with the young peeps clad in colourful dresses and trying their best to emote their feelings.

It’s been just 24 hours or so since the song was revealed online, and it already has got more than 73,000 views. The team behind the romantic hit comprises of composer duo Vishal-Shekhar; it's penned by Anvita Dutt, and the vocals are by Salim Merchant, Shekhar Ravjiani and Neeti Mohan.

Fans have already tagged the track as the new youth anthem and the most romantic song of the year. Indeed the song has brought a bit of positivity to the film, because many have found the look of the film somewhat superficial. Also the newcomers were criticized for the lack of acting skills or to be precise, expressions. However, Ishq Wala Love manages to wash off all that.
