Young blood throbbed on the stage of the telly show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5’ when the newbies Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra scorched the dance floor with their energetic performance.

The music of Student Of The Year has hit it off with the movie buffs, and Bipasha Basu (who, by the way, isn’t associated with the film any which way) has even said that she’s addicted to the songs and listens to them while working out. No wonder that when Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra appeared on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, the trio decided to give more than a jhalak of their nifty dance moves.

“This is our first stage performance and dancing on the stage of 'Jhalak...' where a lot of brilliant performances have happened, we have tried to put up a decent performance on 'Disco Deewane'. Hopefully, people will like it,” Varun Dhawan said on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

In fact, the show’s judges Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit also joined the trio on stage and matched a few steps.

Student Of The Year is slated to release on October 19. The film has Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan playing three students who vie for the ‘Student Of The Year’ award. The friendships turn sour, relationships turn complicated as ambition takes over them. The film is directed by Karan Johar.
