‘Radha’ Alia on the dance floor
Karan Johar’s films without awesome tracks are incomplete. So in keeping with the tradition, the director has included as many as three dance number in Student Of The Year. First, you were introduced to the three students in Disco Deewane, then the boys Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra declared that they are Vele, and now it’s Alia Bhatt’s turn to sizzle. Her song Radhais out.

The quintessential Bollywood track is touted as the ‘traditional party song’ of the new generation and Alia Bhatt gets to groove and show her latke-jhatke for the first time. Does she remind you of Poo (Kareena Kapoor) from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? Alia Bhatt’s styling for the song looks a tad similar to Kareena’s in the song Bole Chudiyan. No prizes for guessing that it’s Manish Malhotra behind both the looks.

The boys Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra not only look good, they dance well, complementing Alia Bhatt and her naughty antics.

Karan Johar, who is introducing Alia, was impressed with her dancing at the auditions. Thus it was a wise decision to make his heroine dance on a full-fledged dance number, and indeed Alia gave a stunning performance in Radha. Do you like her?
