The king of box office, the ‘Dabangg’ Khan, is now enjoying his small screen stint. Salman Khan launched the sixth season of Bigg Boss - Alag Che amid much fanfare yesterday, October 7. The much-anticipated reality show where the participants can be seen doing chores and running errands at a well-decked house, has always been cloaked in controversy. But this time, Salman promises a different show (Alag Che), something that’s family-friendly.

In the opening episode, each contestant was welcomed by Salman Khan in a unique way. Some did a jig, some came along with another celeb, while some made an entry in a white BMW. So, let’s check out the 15 participants who are going to be spending the coming months inside the plush confines of Bigg Boss house in Lonavala, near Mumbai.

The first one to enter the house was the popular former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu. Next was model-turned-actress Sana Khan, who danced to Chikni Chameli, and third to join them was the comedian Vrajesh Hirjee. Next, as highly expected, was the UP women vigilante group Gulabi Gang's founder-leader Sampat Devi Pal.

The controversial cartoonist Aseem Trivedi, and ‘Komolika’ fame TV actress Urvashi Dholakia are also part of the team Bigg Boss 6. Meet the celeb participants, and do read what makes them popular, or say controversial.
