Anushka Sharma almost does a Mandakini as she emerges from the water wearing a flimsy see-through top in the first trailer of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. With her bold act, the girl has created quite a flutter on the web world. Unsurprisingly her name in the film is Bijlee -- so, can you feel the bolt!
From being beautiful to bold, Anushka Sharma has earned her stripes with her stellar performances in movies like Band Baaja Baraat and Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl. The trailer of her latest film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola further establishes that this girl can push the envelope if the role demands so. Seeing her hot act which even includes smooching Imran Khan, her fans are going gaga over the lissome lassie’s boldness.
If the see-through top and the saucy dialogue -- kya utar ke nahaya karun…kaccha ya baniyan? -- wasn’t enough, the girl is also sporting a tattoo on her lower back which says dekho magar pyaar se (watch it, but with love). This naughty pose of Anushka also happens to be the first look of the movie Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
Talking about Anushka Sharma’s character in the film, director Vishal Bhardwaj says that all his female characters are always very strong. “I see women as stronger than men in real life as well,” he says.
Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola has Anushka playing a whacky character -- a firebrand -- who falls in love with a Haryanvi boy, played by Imran Khan. Their chemistry as seen in the trailer is palpable.
