Bollywood has always beckoned southern imports! From Rekha to Sridevi, a bevy of beauties have made their career in aamchi Mumbai. The new crop of south actresses like Asin, and recently Tamanna Bhatia has also been welcomed with open arms. Bewitched by Bollywood charm, there is another siren hopeful to make it big here: Kannada actress and model Nidhi Subbaiah, who stars in Ajab Gazabb Love!

The sultry Nidhi Subbaiah started her career with modeling. Her debut movie was in Telugu, but later she went on to do only Kannada films. Her performance in movies like Panchrangi and Krishnan Marriage Story gave her recognition in the Kannada film industry. But it was her appearance in CCL 2012 calendar that made her immensely popular, especially among guys. For the shoot Nidhi was seen in a bikini.

How did Ajab Gazabb Love happen? For Nidhi it was a biggest surprise! She was shooting for a Kannada film when her manager told her about the movie, and soon she visited Vashu Bhagnani, the movie’s producer. In the movie, Nidhi is a firebrand, who works for an NGO, and despises the rich. But her beau in the film, Jackky Bhagnani, is a born rich. Thus starts a series of comical situations in the film which makes Ajab Gazabb Love a typical Bollywood rom-com.

Nidhi also did a small role in the recently released OMG Oh My God!. In the movie she played a journalist. Till now her stint in Bollywood has been like a breeze; she also had fun shooting for Ajab Gazabb Love.
