A galaxy of Bollywood stars descended on the red carpet of the People’s Choice Awards at Film City in Mumbai on Saturday. The ones who dazzled include Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit and many more.



There was no room for any misgivings of the awards being rigged as for the first time Bollywood saw an award show in which the winners were chosen not by a select jury, but by the fans.

Salman Khan had every reason to be happy as his Ek Tha Tiger was voted the Best Film by people. The film’s director Kabir Khan, who attended with wife Mini, tweeted: “Had fun at the Colors people’s choice awards. #EkThaTiger won people’s favourite film award. Thank u “people” :-)”.

Katrina Kaif, who looked lovely in white tiered Valentino dress, won Best Actor for the film, and ‘Mashallah’ won Best Song.

Priyanka Chopra won an award for her debut single ‘In My City’. Priyanka Chopra tweeted: “My first debut award for my music!! Hahah! Feels nice to be a debutant again..thank u people for making me ur choice!”

Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini were among the other winners at People’s Choice Awards.
