While a lot of actors often take a day off from shoots to celebrate their birthday, Asin, who turned 27 on October 26, kept busy filming for Khiladi 786 on her birthday.

The beauty from South has had a very hectic October and there was no let-up even on her birthday. But she didn’t complain. She showed up on the sets on time. Not surprisingly, the crew of Khiladi 786 had planned a surprise little party and had a cake ordered.

While the film’s leading man Akshay Kumar wasn’t seen around, Himesh Reshammiya, who’s not just the co-producer of Khiladi 786 but has written the film and even composed music for it, was there to wish Asin a very happy birthday. Also spotted was the film’s director Ashish R Mohan.

Asin has had a dream run in Bollywood so far, with four out of five releases going on to become blockbusters and if the box office bounty continues, Khiladi 786 may be the fifth one.

Asin, whose name means ‘one without sin’, began her acting career in 2001 with a Malayalam film and went on to act in a number of Telugu and Tamil films after that. Since her Bollywood debut with Ghajini in 2008 she has been focused on Hindi films.
