Respecting the late Yash Chopra’s wish to start promoting his last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan from his hometown Jalandhar, the film’s leading cast flew to the Punjab city to hold a press conference at Hotel Cabana Wednesday at noon. The city of Jalandhar was very dear to Yash Chopra and he had also studied at Doaba College there. (Watch the video below)
Addressing the media persons, Shahrukh Khan said: “Whenever you get time on Diwali, you come (to watch the film) with that feeling that it’s a celebrating film, it’s an event film, it’s an entertaining film, it’s a complete happiness film. That would be the best tribute to Yash Chopra and his cinema”.
Katrina Kaif added that her experience of working with Shahrukh Khan and Yash Chopra was ‘great’.
“For me it was extremely exciting to do a film not only with Shahrukh but also with Mr. Yash Chopra. The two are legend of romance, the kings of romance, as people call them,” Katrina said.
The trio also visited Doaba College to promote the film and interacted with the student. At the college, Shahrukh Khan said: “Yashji spent his youth days here and studied in this college. I am lucky to promote this film here and I request you all to go and watch the film.”
