Ajay Devgn’s Diwali release Son Of Sardaar is not just a comedy action film, but according to Ajay it’s a complete package. The film has action, emotion, drama, romance and comedy, making it a full-on entertainer. Here are some hilarious comedy sequences of the film.

Directed by Ashwani Dhir, Son of Sardar is a remake of Telugu hit Maryada Ramanna, but the makers have added Punjabi tadka to give it a feel of a masala Bollywood film. Like Maryada Ramanna, Son Of Sardaar is set in a village known for its hospitality. Ajay plays the hero Jassi, a happy-go-lucky sardaar from London. During his trip to India to sell his land to get some funds, he meets Meet (Sonakshi Sinha) in a train and starts liking her instantly.

Later, the destiny takes Jassi to the house of his family’s enemy Billu Paji (Sanjay Dutt), who has been waiting to kill Jassi for a past family feud. Jassi also gets a shock when he sees Meet at Billu Paji’s house, and then starts a laugh riot because Jassi tries to find out ways to stay at Billu Paji’s house as it’s their tradition that guests should be treated as God, while Billu Paji tries out various ways to throw Jassi out, and also kill him.

The movie also has Salman Khan in a cameo role, and actors like Mukul Dev, Vindu Dara Singh, Juhi Chawla, and Tanuja are also part of Son Of Sardaar. The movie’s music is by Himesh Reshammiya, who has even sung a few tracks.

Ajay Devgn being a producer is also happy with the film because it has set the cash registers ringing with very good numbers in advance booking at the cinemas.
