Suspense at its core, Talaash explores Mumbai's underbelly like never before. It’s a murder mystery and an emotional drama rolled into one. A story written by the duo of Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, Talaash promises an edge-of-the-seat experience for the moviegoers.
The 47-year-old Aamir Khan will be seen as Inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat. As he works upon a case involving mysterious deaths by accidents, he gets embroiled into a game of deceit and intrigue where he has to come to terms with his personal grief as well.
Aamir says when he heard the script for the first time, he was totally hooked.
"When I was listening to the script, I was very stressed and tense as I could not predict what is going to happen (in the story). So I found the story very exciting," said Aamir.
But the film is not just a suspense thriller. "It's not only a drama and a suspense, but also a very emotional story. We all love someone or the other, who is close to us - our parents, our children, husband or wife, or lover. We are always scared of losing them," Aamir Khan added.
