Azad turns one!
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao celebrated the first birthday of their son Azad Rao Khan. The actor’s former wife Reena Dutta and his two children Junaid and Ira were very much a part of the celebrations.
Recently, when Aamir Khan met some TV actors for Star Parivaar show during the promotions of Talaash, he talked about his son Junaid and daughter Ira, and praised them for have become mature and understanding. The star even credited his first wife Reena’s upbringing for this. So, it wasn’t a shock when both his teenage children arrived at the birthday bash of Azad. The baby boy was born last year through IVF to a surrogate mother on December 1.
While Ira was spotted with mom Reena heading for the birthday celebration, carrying a cake, son Junaid was snapped inside the car at the venue. The party was held at Imran Khan’s house. Aamir’s sisters Nikhat and Nuzhat Khan were also seen posing with Reena Dutta for the snappers. However, what was really surprising was the hair style of both Reena and Kiran. Of late, the ladies have been sporting short curly hair.
Junaid was recently in the news for being an assistant to Rajkumar Hirani on the sets of Aamir Khan’s P.K.. Junaid has a keen interest in filmmaking and is all set to follow his dad’s footsteps. Aamir’s only daughter Ira is still young and hasn’t decided on her career. The actor still finds his first wife Reena a very important woman in his life. They mutually got divorced in the year 2002.
