It is said ‘Relationships are like glass. Sometimes, it’s better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.’ The year 2012 was truly an eventful one; while we saw some awesome Hollywood films release, the fights, breakups and splits between some celebrated Hollywood celeb couples, too, made headlines.

On the top of the Hollywood celebrity splits of 2012 is the breakup between the Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Though the couple has reportedly reconciled and reunited, their breakup (and its reason) was one of the biggest shockers of 2012.

Kristen Stewart was proved to have cheated on Robert Pattinson with the Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. In a heartfelt statement, Stewart apologized and said: “I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob (Pattinson). I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.”

This infidelity left all the supporters of Robert Pattinson and Twihards perturbed. Not only their off-screen romance, fans love to death the on-screen chemistry between Pattinson and Stewart.

Since this cheating incident, there have been several stories and rumours doing the rounds of the internet about their patch-up, marriage, Stewart’s pregnancy, and what not!
