Perhaps one of the most debatable topics in the world is who’s cuter: The Smurfs or The Minions from Despicable Me? Whatever your answer is, the year 2013 will be an awesome one for animation lovers.

The sequel to The Smurfs, The Smurfs 2, has got its first trailer and it is nothing but adorable. In the initial moments of the video itself, Clumsy Smurf is seen bragging about himself. However, the bearded patriarch, Papa Smurf, without any delay, asks Clumsy to stop being such a narcissist.

And as known to all, a film is incomplete without a villain. Making his evil intentions clear, sorcerer Gargamel declares ‘I am making my own creations to help me finally capture the Smurfs’.

His creations who will take on the Smurfs are the Naughties. No matter how sinful their aim might me, the Naughties are no less cute than the blue ones! Perhaps that is the reason why even after being kidnapped by the Naughties, Smurfette (Katy Perry) is seen having a gala time with them in the trailer.

Oh, and there’s Neil Patrick Harris, too, in the video. In a bantering tone, Barney Stinson…oops…Neil Patrick Harris says ‘I am just Smurfing with you’.
