Hot, sensational and simply wow! Yes, we are talking about the new brigade of actresses, who invaded the Bollywood territory in the year 2012.
From models to south actresses, Bollywood is always lucrative. Director Mahesh Bhatt, whose daughter Alia Bhatt was launched by Karan Johar in Student Of The Year this year, says, “Film-making is all about ideas. And if you have a unique story idea, it will get positive responses, irrespective of the star cast of the film.”
He added: “The way I perceive it, investing in newcomers is not a risk. They are the future of our industry and if we can sell a unique idea along with their talent, there is no question of the movie not performing well.” The Bhatts themselves launched Esha Gupta this year. The sultry model was seen in both Jannat 2 and Raaz 3.
However, the much-talked about debut of the year was of Sunny Leone. The adult film star was roped in by the Bhatts for the sequel of the 2003 erotic film Jism. Soon her growing popularity in India made her the most searched celeb on the internet. TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor too has signed her for Ragini MMS 2.
