Salman Khan turns up as a cop at an award function

Beware of cop Chulbul Pandey
Salman Khan isn’t known to promote his movies aggressively, but the superstar seems to be making an exception for his much-vaunted actioner Dabangg 2.
If releasing the first teaser and trailer of Dabangg 2 on the telly show Bigg Boss 6 didn’t grab enough eyeballs, the 46-year-old swashbuckler has been making appearances on other telly shows as well, apart from holding press conferences in different cities to talk about the film.
But at the Big Star Entertainment awards at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on Sunday, Salman Khan pulled a stunt that left the snappers in a tizzy. The superstar perched himself on a police jeep and struck an intense pose. He wore a shimmery police tee and denims. To make the stunt more convincing, a man in proper police uniform sat at the steering wheel.

The stunt was obviously to promote Dabangg 2 in which Salman plays the swashbuckling cop Chulbul Pandey. It did do the trick as the cameramen couldn’t have enough of Salman posing as a stylish cop.
Dabangg 2 will conclude the year 2012 on a high for Bollywood. The film stars Salman, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Prakash Raj in principal roles.
