It seems Prachi Desai is still struggling with her girl-next-door image and in a sensational makeover bid, the actress will be seen as a hot chick in a new track from her upcoming film I Me Aur Main. From what we see, and hear, the actress has taken a cue from the pop diva Beyonce Knowles for her uptown chick look.
The movie I Me Aur Main also has the dusky siren Chitrangada Singh, and both the stunners get to woo the Bollywood hunk John Abraham in a promotional video shot recently. Since Prachi Desai loves to get jiggy and has also won a celebrity dance show, this song was her rare chance to show her moves as it is a full-on dance number.
Though Prachi has shown her dancing skills in her earlier B-Town outings, she had not got a full-fledged dance number before in a set-up like this.
“Her styling was inspired by Beyonce for one of the looks in a grungy set up and a chic, fun Katy Perry look for the other,” a source is quoted as saying. It’s even learnt that the makers wanted to reveal the fun side of Prachi, and it even goes along with her character in the film. So, you can see Prachi showing her killer moves in a dangerously short flared skirt in this song.
Actually the song is a rip-off of the 80s’ hit Na Jaane, picturised on Sridevi from the movie Chalbaaz. Besides Prachi’s chic, fun look in the song, audiences will also love the regal Chitrangada Singh in a glam doll get-up. Either way, John Abraham is the one who is lucky shooting for this exciting song with the two sirens.
