The freshly-released international trailer of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone tickles your funny bone despite the fact that it mostly features some already-seen footage from the previous trailer.
Burt Wonderstone’s (Steve Carell) stage career as a magician takes a hit when Steve Gray (Jim Carrey) enters the scene with an array of never-seen-before magical tricks up his sleeve; he is touted as the future of magic.
Debatably the toughest trick in the world to perform, Steve Gray holds his urine for 12 long days. So when Wonderstone’s manager asks him to do something fresh, he dejectedly replies ‘I suppose I could hold my poop’. In an attempt to outdo Gray, Burt and his partner decided to stay in a glass box for an entire week, and end up making a fool of themselves.
In the midst of all this gloominess in his life, Wonderstone has an unplanned encounter with his idol, magician Rance Holloway (Alan Arkin). Thereafter, he finds inspiration again and starts working on his ‘magical’ skills.
