Red carpet update
The Renault Star Guild Awards 2013 turned out to be an affair to remember, especially because it was hosted by none other than Salman Khan. But Salman wasn’t the only main attraction at the event, stunners like Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra wowed us with their stunning red-carpet looks.

The big surprise of the event was the gorgeous Anushka Sharma who, for a change, went for a saree. This was the first time that the actress chose a saree for any red carpet event. While we still can’t forget her in a yellow Victoria Beckham gown at the Filmfare Award night, this look is certainly impressive, especially because of the way it is styled. Anushka went for jhumkis, bindi, and big kohled-eyes like a traditional Indian woman chooses to dress up for festivities. And to up the oomph quotient, the actress incorporated a noodle-strap blouse. Sensational!

The event also had diva Sridevi strutting her stuff in a splendid Sabyasachi Mukherjee suit. It was indeed a pleasing-to-the-eye get-up by Sridevi. This particular piece is yet to be seen on anyone else!

Then we also saw Priyanka Chopra in a sequined short dress by Shehla Khan. There was nothing wrong with the glam dress or the way Priyanka looked, but for the red carpet it seemed a bit blah choice.

With the hotties like Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra on the red carpet, the event had its share of fashion flash. ApunKaChoice noticed some great clothes. Have a look at the pictures here:
