Sonal Chauhan has set the temperature soaring with her fab body in 3G-2013. Her fans would agree that she never looked this hot, but to get that fit bod wasn’t so easy for the naturally thin Sonal. Here’s the secret to her washboard abs.

For the first time Sonal Chauhan has donned a bikini on screen, and the girl wanted to show her best bod. In fact, Sonal was so keen to fit into a bikini that she started with a pineapple diet to keep her weight in check. Yes, just pineapples! Sonal says that she was advised by her nutritionist to consume one fruit a day, and so she chose to eat pineapples as she loves the fruit.

Sonal even had to give up other lip-smacking, favourite food items to avoid putting on weight. The actress says, “I am a big foodie and I never support that staying hungry is good. But I had to do it as I wanted to look good on the screen.” Well, actresses can go to any length to slip into a bikini.

Sonal’s diet plan had her abstaining from white rice, fried chicken, desserts or chocolates. Besides pineapple, she had juice, and also she continued with her yoga classes and gym sessions.

Though Sonal will be seen in some colourful bikinis in the film 3G, she looks sexiest when she emerges from the sea in a red bikini. To get this look right, Sonal tried at least 50 bikinis. Finally, she chose the red one, which was by the designers Shivan & Narresh.
