There’s love, lust, sex, jealousy and exploitation galore in the first trailer of director Rajiv Ruia’s film Zindagi 50-50, starring Riya Sen as a starlet and Veena Malik as a sex worker.
The film’s story revolves around three women and three men. Riya Sen plays a budding star in the film industry. She’s fiercely ambitious, competitive, and endowed with hotness to make the men pause in their tracks.
Veena Malik plays “men’s first choice” -- a sex worker who’s happy being a ‘public property’ rather than settle down with someone and become his ‘private property’.
Supriya Kumari is a feisty woman who doesn’t hesitate in giving someone a good whack on the bum when she’s riled.
Arya Babbar plays a struggler in the film industry who wants to direct a film someday. Rajan Verma is a common man who drives an autorickshaw for a living. And Rajpal Yadav is a public servant and a butt of many jokes in his locality because of his queer ways.
A complicated story of passion, ambition, love, lust, jealousy and betrayal is woven as these character cross paths. The trailer packs in beers, bikinis, silicone, playboys, booty, extortion, fights and shocks.
The story of Zindagi 50-50 is by Rajiv Ruia. Music is by Amjad Nadeem and Vivek Kar and lyrics are by Shabbir Ahmed.
