The Croods
The upcoming Hollywood animation film The Croods boasts names like Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone who have voiced the characters Grug, Guy and Eep respectively. The film has got a new video clip which manages to tickle our funny bone.
The Croods centers on the world’s first prehistoric family that goes on a road trip to an unexplored and fantastical world, after the cave where they resided is destroyed.
While on their journey, Grug heedlessly steps on the tiny pointy rocks and hurts himself since he was barefoot. When another family member meets the same fate, perhaps the oldest woman on earth, Grug’s mother quips, ‘Set aside, girls’, as if she is going to walk on the sharp rocks like on flowers.
That’s when Guy shows them his creation, something which he calls ‘the shoes’; all the family members wear fishes for shoes (clearly an exaggeration, but, hey, it’s an animation film).
When Eep gets to wear one of the pairs of the first shoes ever, she jumps for joy but is apparently a tad confused as to where her feet disappear. Catch the clip from The Croods below and some stills on the following pages.
