The question of Salman Khan’s marriage unfailingly tickles his fans’ interest. Though a matter as personal as marriage is better left to the individual concerned, but when a person is 47 and the most eligible bachelor of Bollywood with no sign of that status changing soon, it’s not unwise to solicit the opinion of the fans.
As you know there’s no dearth of eligible singles in Bollywood. John Abraham has touched 40s, Karan Johar too has entered 40s, Rani Mukerji is 34, so is Bipasha Basu, and Preity Zinta is ahead at 38. Yet none of these has shown alacrity to walk down the aisle.
So quite aptly ApunKaChoice asked its readers in the latest poll to pick the celeb they want to see getting hitched this year. No surprises that Salman Khan topped the poll with a whopping 63 percent votes.
The 47-year-old Khan is presently single and hasn’t shown any intent to get married soon. In fact, the superstar recently threw a bombshell when he said he would want to have kids, but without marriage.
When asked when he plans to marry, Salman Khan said: “Marry? I don't know. But kids, I love them and want to have them. I am working on a way I can escape marriage and just have the kids.”
It’s no secret that Salman has repeatedly been prodded by his good buddy Aamir Khan to tie the knot soon. Salman has also hinted that he doesn’t plan to marry until the legal cases against him are resolved.
