Cheering the spirit of womanhood, L’Oreal Femina on Tuesday gave away awards to the women achievers in various fields of art, science and innovation. When names like L’Oreal and Femina join forces to salute the women power, expect the Bollywood glitterati to turn up in good numbers. Thus, there were beautiful and stunning women lighting up the red carpet in their awesome attires at L’Oreal Femina Women Awards 2013.

Riding high on glamour was the pretty Sonam Kapoor. The L’Oreal ambassador looked a million bucks flashing her pearly whites and sporting a gorgeous Atsu Sekhose gown in black and red. The neat hairdo with a black headband, a sort of tiara, added a vintage charm to her look.

Aishwarya Rai, the face of L’Oreal Paris, also stunned all as she came dressed in a Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna shimmer gown, paired up with a black blazer. The actress didn’t walk the red carpet, but took to stage to give award to a women achiever.

Also in the limelight were stunners Neha Dhupia and Lisa Haydon. The charming ladies wowed us with their startling outfits. Then there was the sari gang comprising ladies like Nandita Das, Sakshi Tanwar and Simone Singh.

Speaking about the L’Oreal Paris Femina Awards, Sonam said: “The most powerful people in our country are women and we need to encourage them, who are doing so much for art, culture, and society.”
