Finally, after a string of item numbers featuring the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone and Sophie Choudry, we see Kangna Ranaut, the leading lady of Shootout At Wadala in the new song that’s been released.
‘Yeh Junoon’ highlights the silent romance between John Abraham, who plays the dreaded gangster Manya Surve, and Kangna Ranaut, a simple middle-class girl.
The song begins with John commuting in a taxi and spotting Kangna on a bus stand. There is an eye contact and the cab speeds by. John lands behind bars and Kangna pays him a visit in the jail. There is a tender moment of love and inevitable separation for the two lovers.
Throughout the song the chemistry between John Abraham and Kangna Ranaut is something worth a watch. There’s also a steamy lovemaking scene.
‘Yeh Junoon’ has been composed and sung by Mustafa Zahid and written by Kumaar.
Shootout At Wadala is directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film is a story of the first ever encounter in Bombay. It outlines the rampant gang wars in Bombay at the time that culminates in an explosive 3-way face-off between the two gangs and the police. The film will hit theatres on May 1.
