Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha have started shooting for Pistol, a remake of South hit Thuppakki (2012). The lead pair was recently at Bandra Central Station, Mumbai, to shoot a sequence for the film, and soon a huge crowd gathered at the railway station to catch a glimpse of the stars.
A mob of over 1,000 fans created chaos at the venue as they cheered for Akshay and Sonakshi. The security, too, had a tough time managing them. After the shoot, Akki and Sonakshi were seen interacting with the crowd, and even signing autographs. The two also posed for pictures.
Akshay Kumar was in army fatigues, while Sonakshi Sinha was seen in desi attire. Akshay’s name in the film is Virat, and Sonakshi plays his love interest. The movie is being directed by the Ghajini fame, A.R. Murugadoss.
A few days back, Akshay even got injured while shooting for an action sequence in Pistol, and he was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri after the mishap. He resumed the shoot only last week.
The story of Pistol is about an army officer whose life takes a sudden turn after a series of unforeseen incidents. The movie is slated to release next year.
