Imran Khan plays Sriram, who’s overlooking a construction project in a village. Kareena Kapoor plays Dia, a social worker who’s in the village for her own project. As they go about their chores, the two keep stealing glances at each other.
It’s ankhon hi ankhon mein wala pyaar between the two. “Jal gayi battiya, dhal gayi rattiya, lage tere naino se naina re,” croons singer Kamal Khan. He’s accompanied by Neeti Mohan on this duet.
The song is just an average composition, but it’s the moments between Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor that makes it worth a watch. In one such moment, he spots her on the construction site, he accosts her, holds her arm, looks into her eyes, and just when you think he’s going to say those three wonderful words, he actually places a safety helmet on her head. You see, safety first.
The duo is seen striking romantic poses against the backdrop of spinning windmills. Like the previous number Chingam Chabake, this one too has a rustic setting but is mellower and mushy.
